Flybe - airline information

General information

Flybe

Founded as "Jersey European Airways", the company started operating back in 1979 already.

The company is one of Europe's most well known low cost airlines, it has a fleet of over 40 aircraft and 80 destinations are served throughout the continent.

The name "Flybe" is rather new, it appeared in summer 2002, when the airline repositioned itself and decided to aim at the budget air travel segment exclusively. It was then when we can say, Flybe has become a low cost airline.
