General information
Low cost airline from Denver, Colorado. Operates flights to location throughout the USA, Mexico and Costa Rica. The airline's slogan is "A whole different animal" - suggesting differentiation, quality. Indeed, the airline's services are comparable to those of many smaller flag carriers. Seats on their airplanes have LCD screens on their back side. In-flight meals are not offered for free, prices are very high. The fact that Frontier is a Colorado-based airline has inspired the company to give funny wildlife-related names to their airplanes. Just a few examples: Baby Raccoon "Bandit", Snowy Owl "Doc", Porcupine "Spike", Pelican "Pete", Lynx "Larry", Cougar "Charlie", Grizzly Bear "Grizwald", etc.
