Estonia plane tickets & flights
Used to be part of the Soviet Union, now a small independent republic just south of Finland. Estonia is a Finno-Ugric country, just like Hungary and Finland (meaning that the 3 nations are related, even despite the fact that Hungary lies far south in Central Europe). Estonia's Tallinn is the capital and Tartu the second biggest city. They are both very attractive cities with plenty of cultural attractions, but also Nordic nightlife and they are very clean!
Domestic flights Few flights, negligible. One can travel from one city to another in a very short time for very little money either by car, bus or train.
International flights Mostly to northern countries (Sweden, Finland, Lithuania, Denmark, etc.). There are no intercontinental airline flights. If you are travelling to Estonia from Europe, then most probably you will have to pass through Frankfurt, Oslo or Göteborg. If you are arriving from Asia, North America or any other part of the World, then we advise you to check out the major airlines like Lufthansa in order to find a connecting flight to Tallinn. There are no long haul direct intercontinental flights touching Tallinn and there are no plans for their introduction either.

Estonian Air Serves: Amsterdam, Berlin, Brussels, Copenhagen, Kiev, London-Gatwick, Munich, Moscow, Oslo, Stockholm/
Estonian Air Regional Helsinki, Kuressaare, Minsk, Stockholm-Arlanda, St Petersburg, Vilnius are its destinations.
Various other carriers
There are few airlines that reach Tallinn. Here are the most important foreign carriers: airBaltic will take you to: Riga, Turku. It used to have flights to Vilnius and Lappeenranta in Finland, but these were ceased. City Airline flies to Göteborg/Gothenburg. easyJet will take you to London Stansted. Lufthansa flies to Frankfurt. Norwegian Air Shuttle operates flights to Oslo.
If you would like to travel to the city of Tartu, then there are flights connecting it to Stockholm and Riga only (as of late 2009).
