African Express 

Based at Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, African Express Airways is a domestic and international destinations-serving airline.

Within Kenya it flies to Mombasa and Narobi.

It also flies to cities within: Mayotte, Somalia, Sudan, the UAE, Yemen, Jordan, Comoros, Djibouti.  

You can use the website of this airline for online booking. Very few airlines from Africa offer this possibility. Some don't even have websites.

 

Airkenya

Airkenya Express is an airline based in the capital (Nairobi).

Its main base it at Wilson Airport from where it operates first of all domestic flights: Amboseli, Lamu, Lewa Downs, Maasai Mara, Meru, Mombasa, Nairobi, Nanyuki, Samburu.

There is a single international destination in Tanzania: Kilimanjaro International Airport, which is located close to the mining city of Arusha.

 

Bluebird Aviation

Regional airline based in Nairobi, Kenya.

Its main base is Wilson Airport near Nairobi. From there it operates regional charter services primarily. There are few or no scheduled flights.

The fleet consists of small propeller-driven airplanes of various types from Beechcraft to Fokker and Raytheon.

Destinations may vary, but in general include the following locations in Kenya: Mandera, Moyale, Marsabit, Wajir, Garissa, Lamu, Malindi, Mombasa, Ukunda, Maasai Mara, Nairobi, Nakuru, Kusumu, Eldoret, Lodwar, Lokichoggio.

The airline operates charters to other African countries as well. These generally include: Djibouti, Sudan, Ethiopia, Somalia, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Congo D.R.C., Zambia, Malwai and Zimbabwe.

 

Various other carriers

Receives a large number of African Airlines from Zimbabwe, Uganda, Madagascar, etc. Carriers from Italy, the UK, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, the Middle East and India also roam at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
