Round-trip airline tickets

Round-trip tickets are cheaper than one way tickets.

If you want to minimize your air travel expenses, then you'd better avoid purchasing one way airline tickets.

Some travelers make the mistake to buy one way plane tickets for various reasons. For example: they don't know exactly when they'll be able to return and they don't want to buy the return flight in advance.

Don't make such mistakes. Even if you are unsure about you being able to return on the date specified, you should buy a round-trip ticket. They are often much cheaper than 1 single one way ticket. For example: a one way flight between Tokyo and Toronto can cost more than a round-trip ticket between the two cities.

If you buy round-trip tickets and later change the return date, you might be charged a rebooking fee, which is somewhere between 50-150 $, but even so, it could cost you less than if you'd purchase 2 single one way tickets.
